Poop

I'm listening to DD5 explain to DD3 what poop is. Apparently it has something to do with potatoes.

Downstairs

DS9: "I have two words for you: down stairs." 

Dad: "I think that's one word." 

DS9: "Alright, I'll say it twice: 'Downstairs Downstairs.'"

Accusations

When faced with accusations of physically and verbally mistreating DS9, DD5 claimed, "I don't remember any of that... but I do remember saying I'm sorry."

Orange

"So, Mom, is an orange called an orange because of the color orange, or is the color orange called orange because of the orange?"(DS9)

Brain Freeze

DS9 finished his snow cone and exclaimed with dismay, "Even though I tried my best, I STILL didn't get a brain-freeze!" 

Sometimes I just don't get that kid.

Theme Song

"You can't kill me! I have my own theme song!" exclaimed DS9 as he played his Indiana Jones Lego game on the Wii.

Mom's Birthday

"Mom, for your birthday you should get something nice for yourself... like the Touch 'N Brush!" (DS9)

"Mom, in history we are studying what life was like when you were a kid!"

Indentured Servitude

"Do you ever remember a time when we were little and Mom and Dad did the dishes?" asked DS9 to DD10 while they were doing dishes.  "Neither do I."

His Latest Song

DS8 just sang the first line from his latest song. It starts off: "I am a creepy New York citizen, and I have a creepy dog." 

I think it could be a hit.

5th Birthday

"Remember when I had a little kid voice?" asked DD5 as she reminisced about the last five years.

Playing House

DD4 & DD3 are playing house. I just heard DD3 as the mom say, "Dear Jesus, please don't let my baby die. In Jesus' name, Amen." 

Apparently it's a tense day in their make-believe world.

Hot Soup

"Mommy, my soup is too hot. Would you blow it up, please?"
