DS8 just sang the first line from his latest song. It starts off: "I am a creepy New York citizen, and I have a creepy dog." 

I think it could be a hit.

5th Birthday

"Remember when I had a little kid voice?" asked DD5 as she reminisced about the last five years.

Playing House

DD4 & DD3 are playing house. I just heard DD3 as the mom say, "Dear Jesus, please don't let my baby die. In Jesus' name, Amen." 

Apparently it's a tense day in their make-believe world.

Hot Soup

"Mommy, my soup is too hot. Would you blow it up, please?"

A Little Insulation

DD4 insisted on wearing pants under her dress this morning. When I asked why, she explained, "So my teachers wont hear me toot."

Being a Grown-Up is Better

Why it's better to be a grown-up than a kid (by DD4): 

1. You get to stay up way later. 
2. You can ride roller coasters. 
3. You can make whatever you want for dinner. 
4. You can tell kids what to do.

Yep. She's pretty much summed it up.

Birthday Anticipation

"I can't believe my birthday is right after God's!" said DD4 of her February birthday.

Little Theologian

"If you wanna know anything about God, ask me. I know everything!" said DD4

Bilingual

Yesterday DD4 informed her class that she speaks Butterfly AND Alien Spanish. I wonder what she'll share today.

Daddy's Birthday

DS8: "I guess Daddy's not so excited about his birthday cuz once you get to be his age, your life's almost over." 

I think I'll go ahead and cross Hallmark off the list of potential future employers.
